SGA Art: Team being lazy in the fall

Team in uniform without apparently any work to do, being lazy in fall time alien forests. Made to ease pentapus' thesis-time agony. Erm... somewhat late.

Oh my god, the grass and leaves and tree shadows and the colors. And sleepy John who looks like he sort of needs a shave! And that everyone's having this lively conversation while he's conked out. Though my favorite bit is actually the farthest third, right in the middle, where there's nobody and the leaves and grass move into the distance. SO COOL.

I am somewhat in awe of your ability to do grass. And all those leaves. And the way everyone's all twisted up--foreshortening! Which I am absolutely horrible at.

And it's such a sweet portrait of the team! (A made-up mission, perhaps, because they could tell John needed to catch up on his sleep a little?)

Ok, so some of that grass was a shortcut, there's a brush in photoshop that approximates grass shapes, if I had to do all that grass by hand, I would die. But sadly, had to do all the leaves. I'm glad you liked it, I love drawing random team moments :)

Trees and leaves and colors are wonderful. Ronon's pose is fantastic. And of course Rodney can't go unplugged even in the middle of that lovely scene.

OH, this is gorgeous! The color is brilliant, and I love the wisps of leaves still hanging onto branches. And of course, I love John's head in Teyla's lap while she's patiently looking at Rodney's latest important announcement. :) Adorable!

Beautiful, really, really beautiful. I love that John has that one leaf on his chest, almost startlingly bright against his black clothes... and the leaves showing predominantly red as they fade into the distance: Lovely!

I locve the poses on the characters. I really defines each one of them. But I especially love Teyla's hair. That bun is just so delicate and so graceful. And John so relaxed on her lap and to see that for the others this is not something strange or uncommon, PRICELESS! PERFECT!
