I don't tend to read posts mocking a show in a general way like that (rather than specific criticisms about a plot development), because it makes me feel-- I guess, looked down on for liking it in the first place? It's kind of like the feeling when you talk to people who are all snobbish about pop-culture in general and lecture you about it.
I think I know now what post you mean, and I skipped the meta, but read one of the stories so far and quite enjoyed it. Now that you mention the presence of Teyla bashing in the meta, that might explain why she was largely absent in the focus of the story and only made token appearances mostly, but it wasn't any outright bashing, and the plot wasn't anything where it was grating that she didn't play a big role.
