icon prompts?

Does anyone want icons? Can't really promise the complete and utter adorableness of pentapus' chibi icons but it could be...something. Depending on how many people comment, I might not be able to get to all of them and prompts close to my heart will be snatched up first, but it might be fun. For me and for you!!!

My primary fandoms are Stargate Atlantis and Supernatural. Due South at a pinch and maybe just a bit of Stargate SG-1. Specify if color or black & white in the request.

This is a weird request, so please feel free to say no. Would you be able to make me a Ben/Dean icon? I think I'd prefer color to B&W, but not by much, so if inspiration strikes in B&W, go with it.

This is all, of course, if you meant you'd draw something. If you meant using existing images to make icons, well then I guess I'm SOL.

Oh yes, definitely drawing. Did you have anyone particular in mind when thinking of Ben or just that there are some similarities with Dean? Also, what ethnicity is he? I'm asking because his sister's name seems Indian but I don't seem to recognize the last name :)

Oooh!

Ben looks very much like Dean, only with dark brown hair (darker than Sam's, that soft, rich brown of dark chocolate) and charcoal-grey eyes. No cleft in his chin.

Ben is a mix of ethnicities, but his coloring comes from his Cherokee great-grandparent. I made up his last name, trying for something that wouldn't be easily identifiable with a particular nationality, ethnicity, or religion. And Jaya's name is definitely Indian, but I rationalized that with their parents' work-related travels.

ooh, I just realized I didn't specify, just assumed it, but the icons are going to be drawn, I'm not futzing about with photographs. Do you still want it? I won't be offended if you withdraw your request :) Kunju mentioned that she'd assumed it was going to be drawn for her request, so I'm guessing the opposite assumption could have been made as well.

I have another supernatural icon almost complete, so if you post with this one after I get that done, that'd be great. I'm--okay, let me just say, with artists, my general feel is "Do not constrain the artist! Let the artist do what the artist needs to do!" So you know, I want what you wanna give me!

That being said, I'm McSheppy, within that I'm Johnbabe-ish, and I think the funniest line ever written about SGA was linabean's "John regrets he has only one life to give for his dorky, genocidal friends," which I have always wanted on an icon, though god knows how anybody might do that.

Oh my god, that's AWESOME. They look fantastic - I love their expressions, and I love that Sam is taller than John, and I love their wild hair! And, incidentally, when I say I love their expressions, I mean I really, really love their expressions. So funny. I'm sitting here cackling my ass off. HEE!

Dude, have you seen my art? Have I ever gone beyond pg-13? Ok, so there was a whole lot of skin with the Teyla-John one with the blue daisies but only because there wasn't really meant to be any sexual tension in that one. I'm weird that way :P So skin probably will be at a minimum, but sleeping boys I can definitely do :D

I originally came here to comment about your art but I see that you're in an icon-y mood so excellent! I have no idea what you feel like doing so I'll just lay out a bunch of prompts in the hope that something inspires you. Colour would be wonderful, please.

Sam/Dean - something where they're just happy being with each other 'cause they don't need anyone or anything else.

John/Rodney - you know how sometimes John just can't hold back from laughing at something Rodney has said/done? His face just breaks up like he can't resist Rodney, even when he's being a complete dork.

Jack/Daniel - a lot of the time they argued but they occasionally had moments when they were absolutely thinking the same thing at the same time. I'd love to see them agreeing with each other.

Now that that's done - I've seen your art before and knew you were great but it wasn't until I looked through your entire art!tag that I realised how fantastic you are. Your work is so vivid and dynamic and I'm so happy that we seem to share a bunch of fandoms we're interested in and I think I'd damn near explode if I saw some Harry Potter from you :-)

YAY!!! Oh, this is absolutely gorgeous. Her smile and her hair, the eyes (God I love those eyes), and the whole thing is just very beautiful and perfect. So, so pretty!
