Art: SGA, Superhero AU for the team_sga fest

For the team_sga Team AU Fest, based on a prompt by cat_77: By day, they are cut-throat investment brokers, by night, either vigilantes or just plain dorky drunks. I went with "business(wo)men by day, superheroes by night" :)

Teyla is based on Liberty Belle (with the Liberty bell a little altered to fit her :))
John is based on Starman
Ronon is based on Roy Harper (Arsenal)
Rodney is based on Brainiac 5. Since he's not actually a green alien, he gets to have a mask and keep his own hair :)

Awesome! I love how bright and completely ridiculous the others' costumes are in comparison to "I always wear black if I can possibly get away with it" John's.

Thank you! Yeah, when miss_p mentioned Starman, the costume was pretty much the biggest reason I had to use him for John :D

You're welcome :) I got a few options for Teyla, but Liberty Belle was by far the coolest of all of them. I love the mix of history in her superhero story.

Whee, superheroes! Bright colors vs. black-and-white! And is it weird that I totally love their sleeker mask designs when I look at the based-on links? It's a more modern look, but it is also kind of saying, "We don't actually want to hide our identities that bad. Gonna make trouble?" ...or something like that...

Thank you so much! I kept fretting about what superhero poses to choose for them, but then I realized it would probably work best if I replicated most of the poses and changed only as little as needed when it came to the people themselves for maximum contrast. Glad you liked it :)
