ileliberte: (Dean evil)

A long time ago, I made a post asking for prompts and people indulged me quite a bit. This picture is dedicated to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] cha who mentioned Sam, Dean and apocalypse, and even though this picture shamefully managed to not follow anything of the details of her prompt, but, well, at least it's apocalyptic, and it has Sam and Dean? (Also, Castiel and Anna)...(and, unsurprisingly, silhouettes).

Title: Just another apocalypse
Rating: G
Characters: Sam, Dean, Castiel, Anna

!! I love it!!!!!!!!! I actually really love your use of silhouettes - I even learned how to spell it correctly because of you :) Thanks so much for doing this one! I love it

Can I make an icon out of it? Or would you prefer to do that ? or not!

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it even though I completely failed to follow your prompt. I just couldn't get this out of my head :)

I'll do the icon, since I think some layers might need to be adjusted because of the darkness near the middle, and it would be easier with the photoshop file handy :D

I like your dramatic silhouette pictures, and the way you get personality into the silhouettes via the poses. Nice ominous clouds! (I have just been struggling painting clouds - you have the knack for painting them so well)

I finally signed up for the trekreversebang. I've been dithering about doing it ever since you first posted about it. It's an awesome idea - I'm just finding myself oddly undecided on a concept. I love working from prompts and find them great for my creativity. If I can't do anything else, my fallback position is portraits, but that won't work in this. I suspect it will end up being a costume AU or something crack cliche-ish

Thank you! I love doing the sky, which, I guess, is also why I have so many silhouette images :D I used to hate doing clouds, then I found that they're one of the few things I can stop being totally anal about and just flitter around with low opacities and it somehow works out even when it doesn't for other elements.

I'm glad you signed up, I was hoping you would. Make a post and solicit for prompts, I'm sure people will be more than happy to possibly inspire you to create :)

I love this! I almost wish there were fic to go along with it. Actually, the art is powerful enough to tell a story on its own. This is really good.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think the art has a storytelling quality to it. I can't write to save my life, but it's fun to imagine that there's some great narrative behind the picture anyway :)

Wow, so atmospheric! I wonder what's burning? My favourite part is the smoke reflecting the red light from the flames, in contrast with the cool white moonlight on top. When I just saw the top while scrolling down, I thought, oooh pretty! Then I saw the dead bodies and the limbs and stuff. Pretty is too happy a word to describe the apocalypse. But, regardless: <3!

My <3 icon kind of inappropriately joyful, so here's a war-ish icon instead. :)

Absolutely gorgeous! I love how you can identify each silhouette because that's just their who they are.
