Someone suggest a title for this. The only thing I can think of is "Pregnant chick with stick" which, well. Not that good, you see. ETA: Now titled "Protector". Thanks ratcreature!

P.S.:Ok, I can't decide whether she looks cockeyed or not. Nothing to be done about it now, but hopefully it's not too glaring.

I *love* this piece! The colours and perspective is awesome. And nope, she doesn't look cockeyed to me.

Not too good with names either, but I'm thinking of something with 'curves' and 'strength'.

Thank you :) I took ratcreature's suggestion and named it Protector. Thinking up titles sucks.

How about "Protective"? Or if she's just taken care of an enemy maybe something like "Conquered"? Or maybe if she sought shelter beneath the trees from the Wraith with the open sky still looming, "Fear the Sky"? What kind of story goes with it?

I went with Protector, thanks for the idea! No clue what the story is though, only that Teyla's getting one over someone who was stupid enough to assume that her skills with a stick would be affected by that belly :D

Aw, thank you so much. Frankly, the angle of the pose is not quite my own idea, I saw it on a screencap for missing, but I will definitely take the credit for the coloring and lighting and expression :D And yes, I feel like Teyla would like the catharsis too, too many people making too many assumptions on her behalf on the show :P

Teyla shouldered her stick. "I believe that is what Dr. Keller told me was a hormone surge."

Ronon was grinning. "Got to get me some of those. Might come handy."

Rodney stopped whining long enough to berate his team-mates, "At least one of you could have TOLD me she's pregnant!"
