The promos for 5.02 are making me want to draw Ellen and Jo with Jo cleaning/assembling guns and Ellen looking through big heavy books, obviously used to hunting together. I am really really afraid that one or both of them are going to be killed off though. Or Rufus. I mean, even with all my issues with some of the things the show does/did (season 4 was better), I still watch it and love it. But sometimes some things just feel too wrong. Sometimes a pattern is hard to miss and even if I don't think it's deliberate misogyny, it is still kind of disturbing to have it happen again and again. *sigh*

The promos also make me want a whole bunch of Dean/Ellen fics because RAWR.

I think the urge to draw them will be, in part, dictated by Thursday's episode :) Hopefully Kripke will not be a butthead.

Yeah, I feel like that is the right bargain to strike. I sincerely hope Kripke will not be a butthead about them :(

Yeah, me too. I don't know that I had ever considered the three as a team before, but you're right, it would have been cool. Also, it would be nice to have a female character on the show again who is not a passive victim or a demon :/ If Bobby can be spared again and again, I fail to see why getting rid of every single interesting female character is such a burning requirement.
