• I am watching Transformers. Megan Fox is kind of hot, Shia Leboeuf is kind of not and the cg effect of the cars/machines turning into the autobots and decepticons is kind of mesmerizing.

• I am sadly obsessed with Ke$ha's Blow and am still flummoxed by the video. No, seriously, what's going on there?

[livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang claims go up tomorrow. *flexes fingers in preparation*

• Kurt is TALLER THAN BLAINE. Blaine is SHORTER. Just because Kurt is the way he is doesn't mean he's shorter, or frailer, or weaker or whatever offensive stereotype that manages to be both homophobic and sexist at the same time. Bleh >:(

• I need a haircut.

• I wish I could draw metal well. Anyone have any tips or recommendations of art with well depicted machines/metal?

The only reason I was able to make it through the second Transformers movie (got dragged to the opening night with some theater buddies, though I hadn't seen the first one at that point) was Megan Fox's fanservice and the movement of those mega robots. I don't know how much time, effort and money went into those CGI creations, but damn if they weren't mesmerizing.

Good luck on the reversebang claims tomorrow. Or, well, today now that I look at my clock. Insomnia's a bitch.

Kurt is TALLER THAN BLAINE.

Preach. The photoshoot Darren and Chris did for whatever magazine that was a while back where every shot had Blaine taller made me incredibly frustrated. I hate the stereotype that the supposedly more "feminine" partner in a romantic relationship of any kind must be shorter. 'Tis a fallacy. Just look at Tom Cruise. Or Prince. Dude is almost as short as I am, and so far as I can tell, a lot of the notable women he's been with have been taller than him. And a woman can be more masculine than her partner. Happens all the time. And I forgot where I was going with this, which simply means I should move on and stop trying to type things up at one in the morning.

Haha, maybe if I'm bored and they're showing it on TV I'll watch the second one. I'm definitely not interested enough to go looking for it. But yes, quite mesmerizing. And I'm not just talking about Ms. Fox's body.

Ugh, yes. I hate gender stereotypes, I hate it when they're applied to women and I hate it when they're applied to men. That photoshoot would have been completely cute if that one thing hadn't been so glaringly irritating.
