There's something really lovely and peaceful about this, and I just sat for a while with it before writing this. I like the different shading on the boys versus the tops of the hills and the tree, like the sun's just coming up after a night hunting. The tree's leaves are so intricate and pretty, nice balance to the stark/sharp lines of the rest of it.
This such a lovely comment, thank you! I generally like most of the stuff I do, but I have so much love for this one even though it probably took me way less time to do than a lot of other stuff because I had all the things you mentioned running through my head so a lot of stuff is suggested even if only a few things are shown. I'm really glad you liked it :)
